Wednesday Martin holds a Ph.D. in comparative literature from Yale University. She was a regular contributor to the New York Post's parenting page for several years, and her work has appeared in a number of national magazines. Martin, a stepmother for nine years, lives with her husband and their two sons. Her website is: www.wednesdaymartin.com.

Rachelle Katz, Ed.D. is a psychotherapist in private practice in New York City for the past 25 years.  She earned her doctorate at Teachers College of Columbia University and is a NYS Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Dr. Katz also runs monthly stepmother support groups since 2006. She has been married for 19 years and has a 23-year old stepdaughter. Her self-help guide for stepmothers, entitled, The Happy Stepmother was published in May 2010 by Harlequin Press. Her website is www.stepsforstepmothers.com.
